Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned P6 Planner/Scheduler to join our expanding project team initially based onsite in Geraldton, with the role transitioning to Perth over time. The position requires willingness to travel to various sites. The Planner will partner with both Altrad and client teams to deliver clear, precise insights into project status, productivity, and overall performance supporting effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and deliver detailed project schedules including Annual Execution Plans and integrated master schedules utilizing Primavera P6 software.
- Collaborate closely with Site Leadership, Project Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and Supervisors to sequence and prioritize scope of work, including shutdown and non-routine activities, optimizing scheduling.
- Monitor project progress, productivity levels, earned value, manning details, critical path elements, and installation norms, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Generate accurate, timely reports and dashboards spanning daily to annual frequency, consolidating inputs from Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Quality, Commercial, and Operations areas.
- Support commercial objectives through diligent management of labor hours, forecasts, budget alignments, installed quantities, and resource utilization.
- Foster and maintain robust client and stakeholder relationships, promoting a safety-first culture and continuous improvement of project management processes.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of five years’ proven experience as a Scheduler/Planner on significant projects, preferably within mining and shutdown environments.
- Experience within mining or construction industries, particularly with site-based roles supporting estimation, planning, and execution of remediation or maintenance scopes.
- Strong technical planning proficiency to create multi-disciplinary, resource-levelled schedules with Primavera P6 tailored to project deadlines.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with advanced reporting capabilities; intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Office and SharePoint for preparing precise project narratives and reports.
- Proactive, self-driven professional with developed communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working effectively within multicultural teams and across both onsite and offsite settings.

Additional Information
This role will initially be based onsite at Geraldton, transitioning eventually to a Perth location while requiring site travel as necessary.
