Role overview

As an optician at Optik Buck, you will support customers throughout their journey, from advising on frames and lenses to fitting contact lenses and performing simple vision checks within your professional scope. Your day-to-day work will also include precise lens measurement and centring, minor eyeglass repairs and adjustments, and maintaining an orderly, attractive presentation of products in the sales area. You will work closely with the team to ensure a consistently high level of service and a positive, knowledgeable experience for customers.

Location and employment

This is a full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar.

Qualifications

• Completed training as an optician or an equivalent qualification; several years of experience in the optical field is an advantage.
• Strong customer focus and a genuine interest in consulting and sales, ideally with experience serving international customers.
• Careful working style, good manual dexterity, and confidence using optical measurement devices and workshop tools.
• Good communication skills in German and English; additional languages are welcome.
• Strong teamwork, a sense of responsibility, and a willingness to keep learning professionally.
