Role Overview
We are seeking an Operations Assistant to enhance our team in Singapore, supporting daily warehouse and logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer administrative assistance for daily warehouse and logistics operations.
- Prepare, handle, and maintain documentation related to goods receipts, delivery orders, shipping, and inventory.
- Keep operational data current and precise within the ERP system.
- Assist with inbound and outbound warehouse tasks, ensuring documentation accuracy and completion.
- Support inventory management, including stock movements, adjustments, and periodic counting.
- Document and manage operational issues like stock discrepancies, damage, delivery delays, or documentation mistakes, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse staff, Customer Service, and logistics providers to ensure smooth workflows.
- Generate reports, spreadsheets, and other operational documents needed by the Operations team.
- Maintain well-organized records of warehouse, logistics, and shipping paperwork.
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, documentation standards, and internal controls.
- Provide general administrative support to the Operations Manager and team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Possess a diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in administrative, logistics, warehouse support, or operations-related roles is beneficial.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Experienced in working with ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus.
- Strong organizational and administrative capabilities with careful attention to details.
- Adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
