Officer - Repair Capability Development

Overview

This position, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, supports the Manager of Repair Capability Development and the associated team by providing essential technical and administrative assistance. The role is instrumental in documenting, coordinating, and implementing activities related to establishing and enhancing repair capabilities within Sanad's Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and formatting of technical work instructions, routing sheets, and capability request documentation.
• Gather and organize technical data and justifications necessary for repair qualification submissions.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date records concerning repair development processes and documentation.
• Monitor progress of repair capability projects, update tracking tools, and organize meetings including minutes and follow-ups.
• Support coordination of tooling, materials, and logistics essential for repair trials and validations.
• Manage compliance documentation aligned with regulatory requirements from authorities such as GCAA, EASA, and FAA.
• Help prepare audits by assembling necessary documentation and evidence.
• Compile and analyze performance data from trials and production feedback, producing basic reports for management review.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and data management within the team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of a vocational or technical diploma/course in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related engineering disciplines is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is considered advantageous.
• Between 2 to 3 years of experience providing technical or engineering support, ideally in MRO, aerospace, or manufacturing settings.
• Experience in documentation, engineering coordination, or project tracking is beneficial.
