Role Summary

The Network Engineer L2 role involves maintaining and configuring advanced network and security infrastructure, including Cisco and Aruba switches, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, and related network devices. The position is based in Mumbai (Goregaon) and requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute updates and configurations for Palo Alto firewalls including antivirus, TACACS+, LDAP, RADIUS servers, SNMP traps, and high availability setups.
• Establish VLANs and zones on Palo Alto devices; configure IPsec VPN tunnels and static routes on Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
• Create security profiles, URL filtering, and manage GlobalProtect VPN as per requirements.
• Perform IOS upgrades on Cisco and Aruba switches; deploy Cisco ACI and NAC on switches.
• Design and manage L2 and L3 VLANs, ACLs, object groups, static routes, and port configurations.
• Control internet access for lab machines based on user requirements and approvals.
• Develop and enforce firewall rules and policies; manage connectivity testing including NAT, access control, and VPNs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and other network devices; manage network configuration management tool backups.
• Create policies on Exinda bandwidth manager; monitor and troubleshoot ISE and Aruba Wireless Controllers.
• Maintain OLA and SLA adherence for assigned tickets, updating work notes daily; escalate and follow up with vendors for network/security device issues through TAC.
• Provide troubleshooting, customer support, and performance checks after completing activities.
• Conduct post-incident analyses for high-priority faults and track recurring issues to implement permanent solutions.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should hold at least a graduate degree and possess a minimum of two years experience as a Network Engineer L2. Fresh graduates are not eligible for this position.

Additional Information

• Employment Type: Permanent position with Future Focus Infotech Pvt. Ltd, deputed to a CMMi level 5 client.
• Work Location: Goregaon, Mumbai.
• Monthly CTC offered: Up to ₹70,000.
• Notice period: Immediate joining preferred.
