As one of the largest producers of plywood and engineered wood, and the exclusive wholesale stocking distributor servicing the entire U.S., the company values strong relationships with employees as key to its success. Boise Cascade provides a comprehensive benefits plan called Total Rewards that supports health, well-being, career growth, financial security, and safety.

Responsibilities

As a Multicraft Maintenance Technician I A, you will be expected to operate and maintain various electrical and mechanical equipment. This includes using instruments such as multi-meters, wiggies, meggers, amprobes, temperature meters, and servo drivers, along with installing and bending conduit up to three inches using bending and threading tools.

Expertise in Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is required, including troubleshooting and altering basic ladder logic programs (timers, counters, integers), and managing Allen-Bradley AC drives. You will diagnose and repair electric motors, chart recorders, Honeywell controllers, MTS temposonics, and transformers of various sizes.

The role also demands troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, including directional, proportional, and servo valves, across different plant machine centers. Proficiency in Windows-based software like Windows Explorer and RSLogix is necessary.
