Motion Designer (Remote)

Position Overview

This fully remote role begins as soon as possible and requires fluent English skills. The full-time contractor position is with a fast-expanding AI consumer technology company. The Motion Designer will focus on creating impactful video advertising content for social media platforms, helping reach millions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and animate engaging video ads and user-generated content styles for paid social media campaigns across platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Develop original creative concepts, hooks, and visual narratives from idea inception to final output.
• Produce diverse content optimized for established and emerging user acquisition channels.
• Experiment with creative approaches ranging from polished motion graphics to native social media content.
• Maintain a steady flow of asset creation and variations to support swift campaign testing.
• Collaborate closely with producers, marketers, and acquisition teams to enhance campaign effectiveness.
• Review performance data to refine creative strategies aligned with user engagement and conversion goals.
• Preserve a consistent visual identity while exploring innovative creative directions.
• Suggest improvements to creative workflow, production quality, and campaign impact.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in delivering motion graphics and video content tailored for digital marketing and paid social campaigns.
• A strong portfolio showcasing motion design skills, especially in performance marketing contexts.
• Expertise in After Effects, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and contemporary creative production software.
• Solid grasp of animation fundamentals, visual composition, typography, color theory, pacing, and storytelling techniques.
• Experience crafting social media-optimized creatives and short-form videos.
• Understanding of advertising essentials such as hooks, emotional storytelling, and compelling calls-to-action.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced creative tools for image, video, audio, or production workflows.
• Capacity to juggle multiple projects efficiently in fast-paced settings with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication abilities and fluency in English.

Desirable Attributes

• Proven skill in producing top-performing paid acquisition creatives for consumer subscription-based products.
• Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and the ability to interpret creative campaign metrics.
• Experience scripting advertising hooks or short-form video content.
