MEP Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

As an MEP Maintenance Technician at TEJOURY, you will be responsible for overseeing the upkeep and functioning of the facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure. Your daily contributions are essential to ensure seamless business operations, safety, and the ongoing efficiency of building systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect, service, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Carry out both preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC units, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, pumps, motors, lighting, control units, water supply, and drain systems.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve equipment faults to reduce downtime.
• Manage installation, component replacement, and upgrading of MEP assets as needed.
• Support facility enhancements by assisting with new system installations and commissioning processes.
• Track system performance and suggest technical improvements or upgrades.
• Adhere to organization policies, comply with legal regulations and safety standards for all maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, reporting breakdowns and service completion.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for specialized maintenance requirements.
• React promptly to emergency repair needs to ensure minimal disruption.
• Ensure proper handling and usage of all tools, equipment, and personal protective gear.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by your direct manager.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of High School or Technical Diploma (or comparable qualification).
• Technical certifications in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or MEP are highly desirable.

Professional Experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining facilities, buildings, or MEP systems within commercial or industrial environments.
