Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming raw materials and finished products, conduct inspections prior to storage, and perform necessary relabeling.
• Accurately enter received materials data into inventory systems and maintain monthly sampling preparations for customer deliveries.
• Execute weekly and monthly cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist with outbound shipment preparation including picking, packing, and quality inspections of drums and bags.
• Support containerization activities and coordinate daily loading operations with the shipping department, ensuring all loading documentation is complete and shipments meet packaging standards.
• Dismantle flexi-bags from containers and safely transfer residual contents into IBCs.
• Provide guidance to incoming trucks (acting as Banksman) for safe parking and dock operations.
• Train new material handlers by providing on-the-job training and maintaining training records for those with over one year of plant experience.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking simple English.
• Basic computer skills.
• At least 3 years’ experience operating forklifts post-certification (WSQ Operate Forklift Course or MOM approved license).
• Preferable prior experience in receiving materials or shipment containerization preparation.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.

Additional Information

This position demands adherence to warehouse cleanliness and safety protocols, coordinating closely with shipping departments, and occasional assistance in stocking and container loading/unloading. The role includes responsibilities for preparing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and supervising safe truck docking. Employees with sufficient tenure are also responsible for training new material handlers.
