We are looking for a committed Marketing Assistant to join and enhance our Telegram community. This role emphasizes support functions and actively driving growth within our Telegram communities through moderation, content development, and fostering engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire foundational knowledge in Telegram marketing, community engagement tactics, and audience segmentation.
• Oversee and moderate two community groups to cultivate a positive, interactive, and welcoming atmosphere for members.
• Serve as a dependable contact for any community group inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional interactions.
• Proactively work towards expanding our Telegram network, focusing on the assigned groups.
• Conceptualize, produce, and distribute engaging, high-quality content tailored to each community group.
• Leverage local insights to pinpoint compelling opportunities that align with community interests.
• Manage the content scheduling pipeline to maintain a steady stream of deals and happenings relevant to the groups.
• Track and analyze content performance metrics to provide feedback aimed at enhancing engagement, reach, shares, and follower growth.
• Assist with content strategy formulation and perform miscellaneous related duties as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Current enrolment in a Diploma or Degree program in Marketing, Media, Communications Studies, or similar fields.
• Strong enthusiasm for, and familiarity with, Telegram as a communication and community-building platform.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of producing compelling and clear content.
• Highly self-motivated and able to independently handle strict content calendars.
• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on content quality assurance.
• Collaborative team player eager to learn and contribute innovative ideas.
• Preference will be given to candidates living in or well-acquainted with the Bedok/Tampines regions due to the need for local knowledge.
• Experience or knowledge of community management on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Discord, or Reddit is advantageous.
• Availability to commit to at least a 24-week (6-month) internship period.
