Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Support Technician (Polisher), you will hand polish and deburr precision metal mold parts to achieve specified surface finishes within tight tolerances. You will primarily use air-powered hand tools with various abrasives and stones. Measuring finished components will involve manual metrology techniques and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). You will visually inspect parts for defects and may operate CNC surfacing equipment including CNC Micro-Blast, honing machines, laser engravers, and CNC sanding tools.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum education: High School diploma, GED, or completion of a certified apprenticeship.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with GD&T symbols, blueprint reading, and CAD drawings is advantageous.
• Manufacturing environment experience required.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and commute to Bolton location.
• Good communication skills essential.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with Lean methodologies such as Flow/Pull, 5S, or Continuous Improvement is valued.
• High attention to detail and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
