About the Role
We are seeking a Manager for our Transaction Services team who will establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with both internal teams and clients, aiming to surpass client expectations consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain comprehensive insight into the target company's business operations and key value drivers.
- Verify the accuracy and reliability of data by engaging directly with clients and third parties to clarify discrepancies and attain necessary understanding.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis on received data to derive conclusions and highlight potential issues.
- Analyze, interpret, and assess publicly accessible information relevant to the target business.
- Produce high-quality deliverables, including Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, within agreed deadlines and keep senior team members informed.
- Identify and report critical concerns timely to Managers or Supervisors regarding assigned work areas.
- Engage in diverse transactions, including significant cross-border deals across multiple industries, enhancing professional credibility with clients and targets as a Deloitte representative.
- Support proposal creation and business development initiatives effectively.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Chartered Accountant qualification (preferably cleared in first or second attempt) with a strong academic record and 4-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Prior audit or related articleship exposure is beneficial.
- Experience or familiarity with transactions is an advantage.
- Understanding of Indian GAAP; knowledge of IFRS is an additional benefit.
- Excellent analytical capabilities, especially proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing extensive datasets.
- Strong commercial insight accompanied by acute market awareness.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work from any Deloitte office location across India.
- Availability for frequent travel to client sites is required.
- The role operates predominantly onsite with a hybrid work approach tailored to departmental needs.
