Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive Management Accountant passionate about detailed financial compliance and project management within an international context. This role is hybrid, based at our Paddington headquarters three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) and remote for two days, designed for someone who thrives in complex, scalable finance projects. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be instrumental in ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance and operational excellence across international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance efforts related to international operational and compliance challenges as the company scales globally.
• Manage all VAT compliance matters, identifying and resolving inefficiencies or complexities across multiple countries.
• Develop, implement, and maintain improved financial control systems and workflows, addressing gaps in current procedures.
• Drive and deliver finance projects autonomously, providing solutions for emerging compliance and operational challenges.
• Offer strategic financial expertise and project leadership to support rapid international business growth.

Candidate Profile

• Highly self-motivated individual with the ability to independently identify priorities and act decisively.
• Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant with strong technical expertise and problem-solving aptitude in regulatory matters.
• Experience working autonomously with a project-oriented mindset, comfortable managing complex tasks without predefined guidance.
• Detail-oriented yet capable of maintaining a strategic perspective on how finance supports a dynamic direct-to-consumer business.
