Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and conduct upkeep on heavy industrial machinery.
• Execute mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and pipe-fitting maintenance operations.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems effectively.
• Operate and maintain steam systems, furnaces, boilers, and gas heaters.
• Perform welding, machining, and fabrication tasks as required.
• Rig and properly align equipment such as belt and pulley drive systems.
• Interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics accurately.
• Implement Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) protocols and adhere to all safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance and production teams to reduce downtime.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Proven ability to maintain and repair heavy-duty industrial machinery.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematics.
• Experience working with rollers, slitters, coilers, furnaces, boilers, or comparable heavy equipment.
• Comfortable working around moving machinery, heights, loud noise, dust, and industrial work settings.
• Effective communication and teamwork aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting or familiarity.
• Skillset in hydraulic repair.
• Machining or fabrication experience.
• Competency in rigging and machine alignment tasks.
• Broad experience in industrial troubleshooting.
• Forklift operator certification.
• Training in Lockout-Tagout safety procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $33.37 to $39.00.
• Shift premium pay.
