Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

We seek a proactive and tech-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage both on-the-ground fleet activities and digital compliance for R.K. Tradelinks. This full-time position is based entirely onsite in Nagpur, requiring hands-on field involvement including truck sourcing and negotiations, coupled with office tasks such as billing, shipment tracking, and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure commercial FTL/PTL trucks in the market, negotiate freight pricing with transport providers, and manage driver assignments.
• Oversee vehicle movements actively, monitor shipments in real-time, and collaborate with third-party partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Attend to inbound customer calls related to order scheduling, query resolution, and providing shipment status updates.
• Prepare, renew, and administer E-Way Bills using the government portal and manage online billing processes including uploading Proof of Delivery (POD) on corporate portals.
• Manage freight invoicing, track driver fuel advances, and maintain vendor account records using Tally and ERP software.
• Maintain detailed dispatch records daily with MS Excel, utilizing advanced functions like pivot tables and formulas, to control freight expenses.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, 3PL, dispatch in manufacturing, or transport companies.
• Proficient in Tally accounting software, ERP systems, MS Excel, and the government E-Way Bill portal.
• Willingness to engage in fieldwork dealing directly with drivers, customers, and market intermediaries.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi to handle diverse customer interactions effectively.
