Role Overview
We seek a Speditionskaufmann/-frau (Logistics Coordinator) for versatile operational roles including full truckload (FTL), less than truckload (LTL), air freight, and sea freight.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative domestic and international transport routes.
- Consult clients by offering not just products but alternative logistical solutions.
- Manage the company’s own and contracted vehicle fleets, focusing on financial efficiency.
- Handle independent processing of international air and sea freight orders.
- Maintain and acquire both regular and new customer accounts.
- Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Oversee shipment scheduling, customs processing, documentation, and billing activities.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training in forwarding and logistics.
- Experience in forwarding operations specifically air and sea freight.
- Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently.
- Customer-focused and team-oriented mindset.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in heavy cargo transport sector.
- Familiarity with freight exchanges.
- Knowledge of IATA regulations.
- Experience with shipping companies.
