Role Overview

This position calls for immediate joiners to work as a Linux System Administrator based in Lucknow, Gomti Nagar, on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers along with production environment setups.
• Monitor server health, ensuring uptime, backups, and security compliance.
• Resolve issues related to servers, networks, databases, and applications promptly.
• Administer web servers, hosting control panels, DNS, email services, FTP, SSH, and SSL configurations.
• Execute server upgrades, patching, migrations, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Apply server hardening protocols, configure firewalls, and manage access controls.
• Automate routine server tasks through Bash or Python scripting.
• Document technical processes and work in cooperation with various teams.
• Contribute to incident handling, optimize performance, and conduct scheduled maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in Linux administration and support in production environments.
• Proficiency with web hosting technologies, web servers, databases, and networking fundamentals.
• Expertise in managing DNS, SSH, FTP, SSL certificates, firewall settings, and virtualization platforms.
• Experience with backup strategies, monitoring tools, and Linux storage management techniques.
• Good command of Bash or Python scripting for task automation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication capabilities.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Virtualizor or SolusVM virtualization management tools.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in web hosting, cloud hosting services, or managed IT services.
