About the Opportunity
Join the vibrant team at Butlin's Splash Waterworld, a high-energy environment where you'll be at the heart of the action. With a wide array of slides, flumes, and swimming zones packed with guests, the Lifeguard role is dynamic and interactive. Your presence ensures both a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone visiting, no matter the occasion — from family holidays to lively adult weekends.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the safety of guests throughout pool and waterpark areas, actively monitoring activities and supervising attractions like slides and wave pools.
- Engage with guests, facilitating poolside games and supporting a fun, memorable experience for all ages.
- Respond swiftly and confidently to emergencies, coordinating with team members and applying first-aid or rescue procedures as needed.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the pool environment.
Working Hours and Additional Information
- This is a full-time position, requiring 35 hours per week over 5 days, including work during evenings and weekends.
- For those considering relocation, live-in accommodation may be provided.

Training & Experience
- Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is not mandatory — strong swimmers with a positive attitude will receive full training and support to acquire certification before starting.
- Previous experience in leisure, hospitality, or waterpark roles is advantageous, but a passion for safety and guest enjoyment is most important.
