Job description
Role Overview
This role entails functional leadership to oversee and guide all active engagements with customer project management. The position influences methods, initiatives, and programs within the functional domain or impacted business area, enhancing quality and operational effectiveness of the team. It requires moderate autonomy with considerable operational discretion.
Key Duties
- Oversee master planning, manage material processes and systems, and update production schedules and procurement requirements.
- Develop deep expertise in the functional area, acting as a champion of best practices and quality standards, while staying informed of the latest technical developments.
- Ensure operational alignment with production plans and key performance indicators.
- Optimize inventory control and drive process improvements.
- Gain specialized knowledge in Gas Turbine and Accessory Modules Assembly, leveraging prior relevant experience and technical skills to implement production strategies.
- Apply judgment within defined parameters to propose alternative solutions when appropriate, collaborating across internal teams to resolve issues.
- Understand the interplay of team functions with other groups and how contributions support the broader area.
- Demonstrate interpersonal abilities and nascent leadership skills, mentoring newer team members informally.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three years' leadership experience in manufacturing and materials planning and execution.
- Competency in planning and project management software tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for handling complex and large data sets.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives.
- Legal eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia without sponsorship or time constraints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data, detect trends, and make sound decisions.
- Familiarity with inventory monitoring and control, particularly raw materials, work in progress, or days inventory outstanding metrics.
- Experience using ERP systems, specifically SAP.
- Advanced skills in interpreting Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Capability to document, plan, promote, and lead initiatives.
- Established project management expertise.
