Key Responsibilities

• Analyze solution designs and develop detailed, step-by-step implementation strategies including necessary dependencies.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, improve, and fine-tune infrastructure deployments.
• Upgrade and deploy infrastructure systems and services, ensuring they integrate seamlessly and perform efficiently.
• Advocate for security best practices, governance standards, and effective cost management throughout project delivery.
• Align all implementations with the principles outlined in the Well-Architected Framework.
• Create thorough documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven track record of leading infrastructure engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Expertise in converting architectural blueprints into detailed, executable engineering plans.
• Advanced troubleshooting and optimization skills within complex infrastructure environments.
• Strong focus on governance including security-first approaches, cost management, and operational rigor.
• Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with engineers, architects, and senior leadership.
• Meticulous in documentation and committed to knowledge transfer and capability building.

Additional Information

This is a contract role based onsite in Auckland, New Zealand with hybrid working arrangements. Applicants must already be located in New Zealand and possess valid working rights to be considered.
