Laundry Attendant

About the Role

Join the Housekeeping & Laundry Department in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, as a Laundry Attendant responsible for managing the effective and cost-efficient handling of guest laundry services as well as in-house or external laundry and dry-cleaning needs.

Key Duties

• Operate laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and ironers.
• Load laundry items properly, selecting appropriate cleaning chemicals and detergents.
• Separate dried laundry by type, such as distinguishing between white and colored fabrics.
• Fold, hang, and organize linen and terry items in designated storage locations.
• Sort and fold all relevant items with attention to maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain and submit daily production reports to the supervisor at the end of each day.
• Clean the lint trap of dryers before use and as required throughout operations.
• Keep all laundry machines and equipment clean and report any malfunctions to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness in the entire laundry area at all times.
• Identify and report torn or stained items for further attention.
• Comply strictly with the company’s employee regulations, including policies on fire safety, hygiene, health, and safety.
• Report potential or real hazards immediately and ensure they are addressed quickly.
• Attend work punctually, dressed in the proper uniform and wearing a name tag at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management, with flexibility to support changing business requirements.
