Job description
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Knowledge Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and administering a centralized Knowledge Management System (KMS) within the organization. This includes ensuring all data and documents are systematically organized with appropriate tagging and standardization. The role demands maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and timely versioning of information across various departments. Collaboration with designated departmental contacts (SPOCs) will be essential to collect, validate, and update document repositories regularly. Additionally, the candidate will develop metadata frameworks and taxonomies to facilitate efficient data retrieval and enhance search functionalities. Establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and governance protocols for document and knowledge management will be pivotal. Monitoring system usage, generating insightful reports, and identifying improvement opportunities for ongoing enhancement are also critical components of this position.
Requirements
- Strong familiarity with SharePoint platforms
- Proficient understanding of Knowledge Management Systems (KMS)
Experience
Candidates should have between two and four years of relevant professional experience.
