We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team at the Diamond Coast Hotel located in Enniscrone, County Sligo, Ireland. This part-time onsite role involves supporting the kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen environment.

Situated in a prime location overlooking Enniscrone championship golf course and stunning golden beaches, the Diamond Coast Hotel features 99 spacious and tastefully decorated guest rooms. Guests enjoy spectacular views of the golf course and dunes. The hotel offers excellent cuisine at The Coral Restaurant, a banqueting suite for up to 400 guests, meeting rooms, and a bistro, all maintained by a friendly and dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all kitchen surfaces are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors before and after shifts.
• Efficiently wash cookware, utensils, and cutlery to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Organize food and supply storage areas effectively.
• Manage waste by taking out garbage regularly.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old due to work hours.
• Previous kitchen porter experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to foster good interdepartmental relations.
