Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Visual Designer eager to develop their career through practical agency exposure. This full-time role requires presence in office three days a week and emphasizes creating marketing assets across print and digital platforms, focusing on direct mail and campaign materials. Candidates should be recent graduates or have up to two years of design experience, demonstrating strong foundational skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Create and refine print and digital materials including direct mail, email, web content, presentations, social media, and advertisements.
Interpret creative direction into polished, brand-aligned designs.
Develop concepts and layouts with senior team guidance.
Modify campaign systems to suit different formats and audiences.
Prepare production-ready files for print and digital use.
Build and adjust direct mail pieces like envelopes and inserts.
Incorporate feedback from internal teams and clients effectively.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, account teams, copywriters, and production vendors.
Manage multiple projects efficiently, maintaining organization and deadlines.
Participate in brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and presentations.
Communicate clearly, ask questions, and take responsibility for assigned tasks.

Candidate Profile

Between zero and two years of professional design experience, including internships or freelance work.
A portfolio showcasing strong typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and meticulousness.
Experience designing for both print and digital media.
Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Knowledge of print production and preparation of print-ready files.
Ability to adhere to brand guidelines while introducing creative ideas.
Strong organizational abilities and time management skills.
Open to feedback and dedicated to personal growth.
Effective communicator and team player.

Preferred Additional Experience

Exposure to agency or volume-driven creative environments.
Experience with direct mail campaigns, versioned content, or variable data.
Familiarity with HTML email design and Figma.
Basic skills in motion graphics or animation.
Presentation design capabilities.
Background in regulated industries such as finance, utilities, or healthcare.
