Junior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

HARDCO Group, based in Sharjah, UAE, is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding construction team. This full-time, on-site position involves working on construction projects primarily in commercial and residential sectors.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• MRICS or RICS certification is advantageous but not mandatory
• Between 3 to 5 years of practical experience in quantity surveying, with exposure to commercial or residential construction projects
• Proven expertise in cost estimation and tendering processes
• Familiarity with cost estimation software and related tools
• Experience in infrastructure projects is a plus

Key Skills

• Proficient in tendering, measurement, and quantification tasks
• Competent in project reporting
• Strong Microsoft Office and AutoCAD skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating proactivity and client focus

Additional Requirements

• Previous experience working with a main contractor is essential
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial
