Junior Data Analyst

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a Haystack partner seeking a Junior Data Analyst to contribute within international and interdisciplinary project teams. You will assume responsibilities akin to a sub-project manager, helping deliver on shared objectives effectively. Your tasks include maintaining and enhancing sophisticated IT systems in regulated environments, which involves conducting error analyses, adapting system functions, performing functional tests, and preparing required documentation.

You'll also evaluate and implement innovative digital solutions by collaborating closely with end users and utilizing current software development practices along with AI tools. Acting as a key process expert, you will serve as a liaison among various departments, IT specialists, and external partners, fostering continuous operational improvements. Moreover, supporting scientific personnel by analyzing complex datasets will assist in making well-informed decisions within drug development.

Candidate Requirements

• Completed Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification with relevant work experience; alternatively, a Bachelor's degree coupled with multiple years of pertinent professional experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of data structures and statistical data analysis methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python and R.
• Initial familiarity with pharmaceutical processes, such as formulation development, process development, and GMP-compliant manufacturing and distribution pertaining to clinical trial materials.
• Strong aptitude for teamwork and capability to operate in cross-functional teams using agile, goal-driven approaches.
• Excellent social, communication, and methodological skills aligned with a structured, independent, solution-focused working style.
• Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
