Junior Data Analyst

About the Role

Our client based in Lancashire is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to become part of their expanding team. This role involves handling various aspects of data management, reporting, and analysis. It also provides chances to engage with client environments and refine both your consultancy and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with data management and reporting for multiple client accounts.
• Analyze data sets and extract meaningful insights to support decision-making.
• Create and update reports and dashboards for both internal teams and clients.
• Contribute to the enhancement of data products offered to clients.
• Collaborate closely with senior colleagues on client-specific projects.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication abilities to interact confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or equivalents.
• Experience using SQL Server.
• Some prior involvement in commercial data analysis is an advantage.

Compensation and Working Conditions

The salary range is £30,000 to £35,000 per year, depending on experience. The position offers hybrid working flexibility once fully onboarded, and presents valuable opportunities for professional growth within a client-facing data consultancy context.
