Job Summary

The role seeks a proficient Java Backend Developer with 6 to 12 years of experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep knowledge in Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Multithreading, and Data Structures & Algorithms. Key to this position is the ability to architect scalable backend software and solve complex problems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft, implement, and sustain backend applications with high performance using Java.
• Produce clean, effective, and maintainable code aligned with industry standards.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Utilize multithreading techniques to build scalable and concurrent applications.
• Incorporate robust OOP principles and design patterns during development.
• Enhance app performance and resolve production-level issues expediently.
• Work collaboratively with frontend developers, QA teams, and product stakeholders.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute insights to architectural decisions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong command of Core Java (versions 8, 11, or 17).
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency controls, and Java Collections Framework.
• Solid grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and backend software engineering.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and backend system design.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems.
• Experience with version control (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and adherence to best software practices.
• Excellent analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Working experience within Agile and Scrum team structures.

Educational Qualifications

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
