Position Details

This is a full-time or part-time janitorial role based onsite, offering an hourly wage of $15 with weekly pay cycles. The janitor is responsible for thorough cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas within a building or multiple client locations. Flexibility is essential as tasks vary based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all floor types using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming techniques.
• Operate chemical cleaning agents and power equipment with care to avoid damage to floors and objects.
• Clean and upkeep restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entryways.
• Dispose of trash properly and manage compactor usage where applicable.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with suitable products and equipment.
• Perform spot cleaning of carpets and assist with deeper carpet cleaning tasks such as extraction and shampooing.
• Restock paper towels, toilet paper, and sanitary supplies consistently.
• Adhere to a predetermined housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Undertake additional tasks as designated to meet work scope or client requirements.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial work experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided to support role readiness.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high cleaning standards.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial fields is advantageous.
• Knowledge of custodial best practices and commercial cleaning standards.
• Familiarity with floor care, including processes like buffing and waxing.
• Experience with industrial cleaning or facility upkeep is beneficial.
