Job Details

• Position available: Part-time or full-time
• Wage: $15 per hour
• Payment frequency: Weekly

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all floor types using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming methods
• Utilize chemical cleaners and power tools safely to avoid damage to surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entrances
• Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal, including use of compactors as needed
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate supplies
• Spot clean carpets and assist with deep carpet cleaning such as extraction and shampooing
• Restock paper products and sanitary materials regularly
• Adhere strictly to housekeeping schedules
• Operate heavy cleaning machinery like floor scrubbers, buffer machines, and backpack vacuums as required
• Perform additional tasks as assigned based on client or job requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or minimum six months experience in janitorial work
• Training on the job will be provided
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and effectively

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and standards
• Familiar with floor care including buffing and waxing techniques
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
