About the Role

The IT Systems Analyst position offers an opportunity to support, analyze, and enhance critical technology systems within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This remote role based in the United States involves partnering with technical teams and business stakeholders to evaluate workflows, translate requirements into technical solutions, and ensure systems are optimized to meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine current workflows and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Collect, document, and convert both business and technical requirements into actionable system designs and solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and process documentation, including system specifications.
• Collaborate closely with business and IT teams to ensure smooth solution delivery and alignment.
• Engage in Agile methodology practices such as sprint planning, requirements refinement, testing, and implementation efforts.
• Analyze system performance and data to provide recommendations that boost operational efficiency.
• Assist in system improvements, integrations, and other technology-driven initiatives through detailed analysis and coordination.
• Serve as a communication bridge between technical experts and business users to clarify project goals and deliverables.
• Identify and resolve system issues through troubleshooting and practical problem-solving approaches.
• Contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing system reliability, usability, and scalability.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis or a related technology-focused role.
• Proficiency in systems analysis techniques, design principles, and effective requirements gathering.
• Experience working within Agile project management frameworks and delivery methodologies.
• Strong competency in creating and maintaining clear technical and process documentation.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, capable of collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Background in process improvement initiatives and optimizing workflows.
• Familiarity with data analysis concepts and tools to interpret and leverage system data.
• Preferred experience with healthcare systems, notably Cerner, and knowledge of SQL and system integration techniques.
• Experience working in contract or contract-to-hire positions is advantageous.
