IT Support Engineer

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Deliver onsite desktop assistance, diagnosing and fixing both hardware and software issues.
• Execute Windows OS installations, upgrades, and system re-imaging tasks.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices effectively.
• Conduct fundamental network troubleshooting within LAN and WAN setups.
• Configure and resolve issues related to routers, switches, and other networking hardware.
• Respond swiftly to service requests while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of support activities, troubleshooting procedures, and resolutions.
• Cooperate with internal teams and client representatives to ensure efficient service delivery.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or field service roles.
• Proficient in hands-on troubleshooting of desktop hardware and software.
• Sound knowledge of networking fundamentals including LAN, WAN, routers, and switches.
• Experience with OS deployment, system imaging, and break-fix support tasks.
• Strong communication capabilities and customer service orientation.
• Ability to operate autonomously and handle multiple onsite assignments concurrently.
