About ASMO

ASMO is an innovative joint venture formed by DHL and Aramco, combining DHL’s logistics expertise with Aramco’s vast supply chain network. The company aims to establish new standards in procurement and supply chain services, supporting growth primarily in industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical industries. Initially focusing on Saudi Aramco and its affiliates, ASMO intends to expand services across all industrial sectors in Saudi Arabia and ultimately throughout the MENA region.

Role Overview

The IT Infrastructure Management Analyst plays a key role in planning, deploying, and sustaining ASMO’s IT infrastructure, including cloud environments. This position involves collaborating with various internal departments and stakeholders to align infrastructure strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of IT infrastructure policies, procedures, and principles to gather, verify, and analyze data, adapting processes as necessary.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure, assess requirements, and devise strategic infrastructure plans.
  • Engage stakeholders to establish infrastructure architectures, including capacity planning and scalability considerations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure proper installation, configuration, and integration of infrastructure components such as servers, networks, storage, and virtualization.
  • Generate periodic performance reports of IT infrastructure.
  • Participate in testing and validation to guarantee successful infrastructure deployments.
  • Monitor infrastructure KPIs using relevant tools, identify performance bottlenecks, and take corrective actions.
  • Investigate infrastructure issues, collaborate with support and vendors, and execute remediation measures.
  • Conduct capacity planning exercises, monitor resource use, recommend upgrades, and implement policies to optimize cost and efficiency under the guidance of the IT Infrastructure Management Manager.
  • Implement security controls, monitor for vulnerabilities, and partake in security incident responses.
  • Suggest training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to processes and practices to boost productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to IT Solutions department policies and procedures, maintaining controlled and consistent work practices.
  • Assist in preparing timely and accurate departmental reports in accordance with relevant standards and policies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution is mandatory.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are desirable.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written, is required.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar IT infrastructure role is expected.
