Key Responsibilities
- Lead transformation initiatives to enhance the value, effectiveness, and efficiency of IT audit processes by exploring automation tools and data analytics, executing implementations, and showcasing results to Management and the Audit Committee.
- Plan and perform IT audits aligned with audit objectives, recommend improvements to address IT control weaknesses, and follow up on corrective actions while developing a comprehensive understanding of IT systems, processes, and applications.
- Conduct research and proactively advise on IT controls related to system pre-implementation phases.
- Prepare and present clear and insightful audit findings to Management and the Audit Committee.
Desired Experience and Competencies
- Proven background in IT audit, risk assessment, or IT governance within complex organizational settings.
- Familiarity with IT systems, applications, databases, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud computing environments.
- Knowledge of IT operational processes such as change management, software development lifecycle, access controls, patch management, and IT disaster recovery.
- Experience leveraging automation and data analytics tools to improve audit processes is a plus.
- Understanding of IT security frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and governance principles.
- Awareness of IT policies supporting various operational areas in IT.
- Insight into typical IT environments of large organizations.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently while managing priorities efficiently.
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in managing diverse tasks and challenges.
- Curiosity and boldness to pursue innovative solutions and strategies.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification or equivalent IT audit credential preferred.
Contract Terms
This position is offered as a 2-year full-time contract under CPF Board payroll, with a possible renewal based on confirmation and organisational needs. There is also a potential pathway to permanent employment.
