Kent Stainless services clients across Ireland, the UK, Europe, the USA, the Middle East, and Singapore. It maintains close collaboration with consulting engineers and architects to provide tailored technical solutions.
Role Summary
Kent Stainless is seeking a full-time International Business Development Manager, based onsite in Wexford. The role emphasizes proactive market research, lead generation, and effective engagement with international clients to foster business growth. The focus is on acquiring new business rather than on maintaining existing accounts.
The position requires regular international travel, with significant trips to the USA and other markets. This can impact working hours including evenings and weekends. A confident presentation style is essential, particularly when addressing groups of engineers and architects. Comprehensive training will be provided to support these presentations.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Proven skills in international business development and global market engagement.
- Proficiency in French or German is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities are required.
- Expertise in lead generation techniques.
- Experience collaborating with consulting engineers and architects is beneficial but not essential.
- Familiarity with the Food, Dairy, and Drinks Processing industries, Life Science and Pharmaceutical sectors, or Data Center and Microchip industries would be considered an asset. The role focuses on these sectors at their design and construction phases.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
