Role Overview

We are seeking an Intelligence Analyst to progressively take ownership of member-facing intelligence content and engagement. Initially, the focus will be on high-volume, recurring tasks with a pathway toward independent analytical judgment and content creation over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recurring templated content for monthly member meetings including updating charts, conducting month-to-month comparisons, and maintaining known content categories.
• Study source materials and understand members' risk environments to translate complex technical threat and fraud information into actionable insights relevant to credit unions.
• Gradually assume greater responsibility for original and analytical content development in partnership with the Director of Intelligence.
• Co-present parts of live virtual member meetings.
• Contribute to drafting critical documents such as Monthly and Annual Threats Reports, Fall Survey Analysis, and other communications.
• Support creation of member advisories and broader communications.
• Collaborate with key partners on intelligence sourcing and related projects.

What This Role Does Not Entail

• This is not a purely administrative or document assembly role; it requires critical judgment about priorities and relevance.
• The position is not focused on IT infrastructure or technical operations.
• The job is dynamic with shifting priorities, requiring flexibility beyond a fixed routine.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have foundational knowledge of cybersecurity, fraud, or financial-services risk through education, certifications, relevant work experience, or self-guided learning. Intellectual curiosity and adaptability are essential for thriving in this small, evolving organization. The role is suited for those seeking growth and variety rather than repetitive daily tasks.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity, fraud, or financial services risk concepts.
• Excellent writing and content creation capabilities.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
• Desire to develop analytical and presentation skills over time.
• Capacity to work fully remote with occasional travel (approximately once per year for conferences).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to credit unions, banking, or regulated financial services.
• Familiarity with presentation and slide software tools.
• Security-related certifications, such as Security+, or equivalent practical cybersecurity or fraud experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 annually, with most hires starting between $80,000 and $85,000.
• Higher salary tier available for candidates with certifications or relevant hands-on expertise.
