Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Information Technology Manager to join our vibrant IT department located in Dubai, UAE. This critical position focuses on spearheading technological advancements while safeguarding the security, reliability, and optimal operation of our IT infrastructure. Your strategic guidance, analytical approach, and ability to collaborate will be vital to ensuring technology initiatives effectively support business goals and maximize organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the security, integrity, and upkeep of all IT systems and infrastructure by implementing and monitoring rigorous procedures and industry best practices.
• Formulate and implement comprehensive IT strategies aligned with company objectives, clearly communicating goals throughout the organization to foster strategic business decisions.
• Administer IT budgets and maintain vendor partnerships including service and maintenance contract negotiations to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with standards.
• Analyze system and hardware/software performance thoroughly, delivering data-backed suggestions to improve efficiency and add business value.
• Lead and nurture the IT team, promoting a collaborative environment conducive to professional growth, innovation, and continuous enhancement.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to facilitate readiness initiatives, oversee system implementations, validate user acceptance, and monitor key performance indicators.
• Ensure strict compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies; plan and document all due diligence for audits.
• Develop and introduce innovative solutions to complex IT challenges, providing strategic guidance to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Manage IT projects end-to-end, assuring prompt completion, adherence to quality benchmarks, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders by practicing transparency and dedication to organizational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Possess at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in IT management with demonstrated success.
• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, and system management.
• Proven expertise in crafting and executing IT strategic plans that align with organizational objectives.
• Strong leadership demonstrated by a proactive, lead-by-example approach and ability to motivate teams.
• Advanced problem-solving aptitude with a creative perspective for developing innovative technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience with IT service management tools and platforms.
• Solid financial management skills including budget oversight and cost control.
• Deep understanding of IT security, compliance, risk mitigation, and business continuity strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all organizational tiers.
• Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing licensing and software upgrades effectively.
• High levels of integrity, resilience, and a dedication to maintaining excellence standards.
• Superior organizational and time management abilities for prioritizing multiple projects.
• Experience leading change management and organizational transformation efforts.
• ITIL certification or equivalent in IT service management is preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE-specific IT compliance and regulatory frameworks is desirable.
