Hygiene Technician

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hygiene Technician to join a reputable food manufacturing company based in Rochester, Kent. This role involves upholding high hygiene standards throughout multiple manufacturing sites within a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute hygiene tasks across operational and non-operational zones of the facilities.
• Support comprehensive deep cleaning initiatives, including machinery and production shutdown cleans.
• Maintain staff amenities ensuring cleanliness standards are met.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, quality controls, health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hygiene roles within manufacturing or food production environments is essential.
• Preferably familiar with the UK food manufacturing sector and related standards.
• Knowledgeable about COSHH regulations and practices for safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
