Role overview
This opportunity is for a Human Resources Generalist to join a public sector organisation in Dublin City Centre. The position is permanent, full-time, and hybrid, with a team of six people. It reports to the HR Manager and has a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Chief People Officer.
The organisation is seeking someone who is broadly skilled across HR, with particular strength in HR systems, data analysis, reporting, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Employee Relations Manager and Chief People Officer to help strengthen the overall HR function while supporting a positive workplace culture and the organisation’s core values.
- Improve HR technology, workflows, and related data processes on an ongoing basis.
- Take ownership of HRIS-related initiatives and create, interpret, and present reports, metrics, and dashboards that support business decisions.
- Contribute to recruitment and selection activity from start to finish.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR-focused position within a relevant environment such as the public sector, semi-state, or professional services.
- A Certificate in HR, or an equivalent qualification, is considered an advantage.
- Proven experience working as part of an HR team and supporting key functions such as recruitment, policy, performance, and learning and development.
- A strong generalist mindset with a clear emphasis on systems, data handling, and reporting.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range is €45,000 to €55,000 basic pay, along with benefits. The role also includes 23 days of annual leave.
Additional information
This is a full-time permanent position based in Dublin City Centre. The working model is hybrid.
