Key Responsibilities

Assist in formulating and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals to strengthen organizational sustainability.
Manage and resolve high volumes of complex HR issues, including associate inquiries, conflict resolution, emergency support, and investigations, adhering to company values and standards.
Provide guidance to employees and leaders on associate relations, absence management, and performance improvement.
Analyze organizational trends and risks to inform initiatives, policy enhancements, and cultural development.
Work closely with leadership teams to address associate relations and performance matters within supported areas.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, policies, and procedures.
Deliver exceptional HR service through clear communication via face-to-face, phone, and written interactions in a fast-paced retail environment.
Support HR and organizational change projects to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in a Human Resources role.
Retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Demonstrated capability to lead through change and succeed in a dynamic retail setting.
Proficiency in handling associate relations, performance management, and case handling.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Adeptness at collaborating across multiple units and locations.
Up-to-date with current HR technologies, systems, and data analytics.
Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and customer service skills, particularly in de-escalating difficult situations.
Outstanding leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
