HR Driver and Forklift Operator

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced HR Driver and Forklift Operator to join a well-established transport and logistics company based in East Arm, Darwin. This role involves local freight delivery and forklift operations with a competitive hourly rate and weekday plus Saturday shifts.

Location and Schedule

• Work location: East Arm, Darwin, Northern Territory
• Workdays: Monday through Saturday
• Shift duration: 8 hours per day

Compensation

The hourly wage is $35.50 plus applicable penalties.

Responsibilities

• Perform local deliveries to commercial clients across the Darwin area
• Drive HR vehicles adhering strictly to road safety and transport regulations
• Use forklift equipment to load and unload freight safely
• Ensure cargo is secured and managed correctly during transit
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and timely
• Deliver exceptional customer service during all interactions
• Maintain a tidy and safe work environment at all times

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid HR Driver's Licence
• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Demonstrated experience in driving HR vehicles locally
• Familiarity with the geography of the Darwin metropolitan area
• Strong focus on health and safety compliance
• Dependable, communicates effectively, and possesses a strong work ethic
