Role Summary

As an HR Coordinator at Shebara Resort, you will assist in running daily HR and Talent & Culture operations efficiently. Your role includes recruitment support, maintaining employee records, facilitating onboarding, and aiding employee engagement programs. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and discretion in handling confidential information are essential. You will partner closely with the HR Manager and the broader team to maintain smooth workflows and enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily administrative operations of the Talent & Culture department to ensure seamless processes.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts such as scheduling interviews, liaising with candidates, and preparing onboarding materials.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding activities for a smooth transition of employees.
  • Support employee engagement activities, trainings, and internal events through administrative assistance.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating internal HR policies, procedures, and communications.
  • Help administer payroll and benefits by ensuring precise data input and timely submissions.
  • Address employee questions related to HR guidelines and general concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, and related employee data with accuracy and adherence to compliance.
  • Support performance management by coordinating documentation and scheduling reviews.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold high standards for sensitive employee information security.
  • Generate HR reports and maintain HR systems to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with department leads to support HR initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws, internal policies, and best HR practices.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Talent & Culture Manager and the wider team.
  • Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Talent & Culture Manager to support departmental success.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related discipline.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in HR, Talent & Culture, or administrative roles preferably in hospitality or service industries.
  • Fundamental understanding of HR areas like recruitment, onboarding, record management, and HR administration.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices is beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills for multitasking effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities to professionally engage with all employee levels.
  • High integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented with accuracy in data handling and documentation.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently or in a collaborative team setting.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
