Role Overview

The role of housekeeper is crucial to delivering a clean and welcoming environment, directly influencing guest satisfaction and loyalty. We seek dedicated individuals who take pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards and enhancing guests' relaxation and overall experience. Housekeepers serve as the "Heart of the House," ensuring guest rooms are prepared impeccably and maintain the property’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests, ensuring a pleasant stay.
• Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve cleanliness standards across the property.
• Maintain organized and well-stocked cleaning carts.
• Utilize equipment, supplies, and guest amenities appropriately and efficiently.
• Deliver thorough cleaning and sanitization of assigned guest areas.
• Follow the Green Program standards while changing and inspecting linens and towels daily.
• Observe safety protocols, identify hazards such as damaged equipment or unsafe conditions, and report promptly.
• Handle guests' property with respect and care.
• Take responsible care of cleaning equipment.
• Adhere to scheduled work hours and maintain accurate timekeeping.
• Remain attentive, courteous, and cooperative with guests and team members at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Floor Supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Maintain a neat appearance and pleasant demeanor.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Capability to stand and work on feet for extended durations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Competence in reading room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
• Physical ability to navigate and position oneself to clean floors and high places, manipulate cleaning carts up to 100 lbs in confined spaces, and operate cleaning equipment like vacuums, mops, brooms, and other tools.
• Lift and carry loads of at least 25 pounds safely.

Compensation and Equal Opportunity

The hourly pay for this position is $16. Compensation may vary based on individual skills, experience, certifications, and location-specific labor costs.
