Key Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate cleaning techniques using judgment aligned with orientation guidelines.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning solutions safely and effectively under supervision.
• Disinfect and sterilize workplace equipment and supplies, employing germicides and sterilization tools.
• Follow universal precautions for the safe disposal of trash and hazardous materials.
• Maintain cleaning carts stocked with necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring chemicals are properly labeled and equipment is functional.
• Foster positive interpersonal relationships and uphold professional conduct within a team environment.
• Contribute to productivity improvements and efficiency within the housekeeping department.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by participating in required training programs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail in all cleaning tasks.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients, management, and support staff.
• Flexibility and responsiveness to changing work demands.

Physical and Safety Requirements

This position may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. Use of uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
