Position Summary

We are seeking immediate full-time Housekeepers for Our Lady of the Lake Main Campus in Baton Rouge, LA. This role involves performing light cleaning duties to ensure establishment cleanliness and orderliness, including making beds, replenishing linens, vacuuming, and general room upkeep within hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, attentive customer service ensuring quality standards.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors thoroughly.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies; shampoo upholstery as needed.
• Dust, polish furniture and metal fixtures, and clean fittings.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Clean basins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and replace linens as required; rearrange furniture per layout guidelines.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and housekeeping requests.
• Handle housekeeping issues such as spills and broken glass efficiently.
• Demonstrate professionalism and contribute positively as part of the team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.

Work Schedule

Full-time employment with a Monday through Friday schedule including rotating weekends. Hours may vary with details provided during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranging from $14 to $15.
