Work Schedule and Location

Typical shifts involve eight-hour days, five days per week, primarily during daytime hours. Shift flexibility includes working weekends and holidays. Work takes place at any Southwest Properties location.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of suites, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairs by removing stains and debris
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered items, and draperies using vacuums or shampoo equipment
• Empty waste receptacles and transport trash to disposal sites
• Sweep and scrub floors using appropriate tools such as brooms, mops, and scrubbing or waxing machines
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
• Polish metalworks including silver accessories, fixtures, and fittings
• Replace light bulbs in common areas when needed
• Manage laundry tasks including sorting, washing, ironing, and folding garments and linens
• Clean windows, walls, ceilings, and wood surfaces, applying waxing and polishing as necessary
• Remove debris from parking lots and surrounding outdoor areas
• Clean carpeted floor grates
• Regularly sanitize fitness and entertainment spaces, including wiping down gym machines
• Maintain cleanliness of pool and hot tub facilities
• Prepare vacant suites for viewings and leasing readiness
• Perform regular property inspections to ensure overall cleanliness and report issues to management
• Conduct seasonal light landscaping such as raking, garbage collection, and watering plant boxes
• Clean barbecue and terrace areas regularly, including furniture upkeep
• Follow safety precautions to protect residents; report damages, thefts, or lost items to Assistant Property Manager
• Request repair services when necessary
• Adhere strictly to safety standards during all duties
• Maintain and organize cleaning supply carts effectively
• Communicate professionally with residents and fellow staff
• Escort contractors within buildings when concierge is unavailable
• Ensure housekeeping tools and machines are properly maintained and functional

Working Conditions

This role requires standing and walking extensively and may involve occasional heavy lifting. Seasonal weather conditions impact some tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory to possess every qualification, candidates with 1 to 2 years of cleaning experience are preferred. Key attributes include:
