About the Role
Iceland Foods seeks a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join their team in Droitwich Spa, UK. This role involves delivering groceries efficiently and safely while maintaining exceptional customer interaction as the face of the company. The position offers an hourly wage of 3.71 and presents an opportunity to work actively and independently in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure proper and safe loading of delivery vans, including manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Follow strict road safety and driving protocols consistently.
- Perform thorough van inspections prior to deliveries.
- Deliver food items in excellent condition to customers.
- Provide top-notch customer service and support.
- Assist store operations when necessary.
- Manage work autonomously with efficient time management.
- Adapt to variable shift schedules, which may occur anytime between 6am and 11pm.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a valid full driving license held for a minimum of three years, with no more than six penalty points.
- Exhibit a positive, friendly demeanor with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Demonstrate punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines reliably.
- Maintain a strong consciousness of road safety.
