Role Overview

Iceland Foods is seeking enthusiastic Home Delivery Drivers to join our team in East Grinstead. As a key representative of our company, you will be responsible for safely delivering groceries to customers, ensuring high quality service and maintaining the integrity of food items during transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow proper van loading protocols, including safe heavy lifting and manual handling techniques.
• Adhere strictly to road safety and safe driving practices at all times.
• Perform routine van checks to ensure vehicles are in good condition for delivery duties.
• Deliver products so that food reaches customers in excellent condition.
• Offer friendly, effective customer service while interacting with customers during deliveries.
• Assist with in-store tasks as needed to support the team.
• Work independently, efficiently managing your own schedule.
• Demonstrate flexibility in working shifts, which may vary between 6am and 11pm.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a full driving license held for a minimum of three years, with no more than six endorsement points.
• Maintain a positive, approachable attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Be punctual and adept at meeting deadlines.
• Show a strong commitment to road safety awareness.
