Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Heavy Driver based in Buraydah, Al Qasim. The driver will be responsible for transporting commercial and domestic refrigerators along with associated equipment to clients and company sites. The role entails comprehensive vehicle operation including inspection, load management, adherence to delivery schedules, and compliance with safety and traffic regulations. Effective communication and proper documentation are essential to ensure smooth delivery operations and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy trucks to deliver refrigeration products safely.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections prior to trips to verify safety and mechanical readiness.
- Load, unload, and securely arrange refrigeration units and related items.
- Follow planned routes and delivery schedules accurately.
- Maintain communication with dispatch teams and customers during transit and delivery.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and report any vehicle or delivery issues promptly.
- Uphold professional conduct, punctuality, and product care at all times.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient driving skills with heavy vehicles capable of managing large payloads.
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A or equivalent heavy vehicle authorization, accompanied by a clean driving history.
- Strong communication abilities for effective interaction with dispatch personnel and customers.
- Knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform safety inspections.
- Capability to interpret and follow delivery routes, schedules, and instructions precisely.
- Physical strength and stamina to assist with loading and securing refrigeration equipment.
- Familiarity with local and regional traffic laws and safe driving protocols.
- Experience in logistics, delivery, or transportation roles is advantageous.
