We seek a versatile and skilled handyman or carpenter who can perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks while delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Undertake small to medium maintenance and repair projects for residential and commercial clients
• Effectively communicate project scope and costs to customers, managing their expectations
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to cultivate lifelong client relationships following the "Mr. Handyman Way" process
• Work independently, managing your own schedule and duties
• Provide excellent customer service, including soliciting reviews and handling payments
• Possess and competently use all necessary tools and technology
• Document jobs thoroughly in line with company procedures
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and protective coverings to maintain customer property

Job Requirements

• Residency within the local area
• Minimum of eight years’ paid handyman experience
• Ownership of personal tools necessary for the role
• Insurable to operate company vehicle
• Pass background and driving record checks
• Capability to independently lift 50 pounds
• Ability to safely work at heights and overhead over extended periods
• Maintain a professional appearance and upkeep of company vehicle

Technical Skills

Applicants should demonstrate strong competence in at least three of the following areas:

• Carpentry
• Bathroom renovations
• Kitchen renovations
• Interior and exterior painting
• Drywall repair, minor and major
• General plumbing and electrical work where permitted by law
• Floor installation and restoration
• Knowledge of building codes
